which filter do I need for this movie? from the bottom towards the middle there's a lot of weird stuff happening with colours and pixels.

I had that, i told ffdshow to play it instead of the XviD codec & it worked fine, don't know what the actual problem is though? i've got the latest offical release of XviD (1.0.3) but theres a BETA availible or their website, it could have been encoded with that?

the white stuff is sometimes green, sometimes black, sometimes red... it can be any colour, and it moves like smoke over the bottom half of the screen.
