Not horror as such, but certainly horrific. "Threads" is the British answer to the US cold war nuclear drama "The day after" (a verified link to which i also have if anyone is interested). Whereas the American attempt seems to be drowning in soap opera mentality, "Threads" dishes out an equal amount of gritty realism.
An uncomfortable but worthwhile watch.
