This movie is simply stunning. Set in post apocalyptic France, it can probably be best described as a futuristic black comedy. I fell in love with it from the opening credits, which are so simple yet effective that they are a work of genius, and perfectly set the trend for the rest of the movie. At the present time 2 out of 63 people who have posted comments on the IMDb fail to praise this movie. I doubt you will find too many more films with such a ringing endorsement. this movie is hilarious indeed. got the same (french) version.
if you like that one make sure you go for ?the city of lost children?.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0112682/

and of course ?Amelie from Montmartre?. Surely no horror but this
incredible camerawork and unmistakable deranged sense of humor...just great!

I tried "The city of lost children", but unfortunately it was a dubbed version, which really ruined it for me. In fact i didn't even make it to the end of the film. It definately showed promise (i loved the flea :) ), but i need to track down an english subtitled version. Films are just not the same without the original actors voices. Am also very interested in "Amelie".

Time to go a hunting methinks! :)

Cheers! :beerchug:

Cheers John. I shall get around to grabbing those soon, although i'm trying to resist the urge to "click" at this moment as i need to let my current Overnet downloads complete, and gets me one of them there mule thingys. Just can't get any rarities here in Overnetville (Population: 0 rare files).

I suppose this act of kindness means i shall have to call off our chainsaw wielding battle to the death. Still, should please the Monkeyman as he feels we could get on. :D

Hail to the kitten who beareth the name of the simian. :jesus:

Really? Even if you are using the "new part" system?

Thing is, i'm also building up to format time. Starting to get a few gremlins. HD stalls during defrag, and since repartitioning, the last time i got to the end of a C drive defrag it was still going after 105%. :o

Best get wiping soon, and start again from scratch methinks! :D
