Hi.

I have previousely released this fine film a while back on vhs this is the new shriekshow dvd and is a must see its a beautiful print as usual with shriekshows titles...in my opinion this is one of the better 80's slashers included is a high res scan of the dvd cover....

Just Before Dawn is a gem of a slasher flick, unfortunately not too many of you guys can see it because it was released in the wake of Friday the 13th and considered one of it's rip-offs. The only version I've seen of JBD is on Paragon VHS, supposedly it is available on a compilation DVD, but I've never seen it. Anyways I digress... More like the Hills Have Eyes than Friday the 13th, this film stands on its own due to it's atmospheric look and style and it's commitment to building it's characters. The film is effectively creepy throughout, never wholly revealing the killer to you, instead masking the killer or killers, through shadows and camera work. The film score is quite haunting and unlike other slasher films it doesn't spike up every time someone moves, it just builds along with the suspense and flows with the story. The film was recently re-made, loosely, as Wrong Turn. If you can find Just Before Dawn I highly recommend watching it, with the lights out.

Name-Just Before Dawn

PLEASE NOTE:

due to a faulty hard drive ive had to re-encode this film so i dont think it will resume where it left off guys so sorry about this if you've got to start it all again as i couldnt retrieve the film when my hard drive went apeshit on me and thanks to somechick for trying and helping me thanks.....

enjoy

Hi Ferox. Nice one. :) I have your old VHS rip from awhile back and as much as I want to d/l this new one I'm holding off as I want to pick up this sweet 2-disc package. What sucks is here in Canada I'm having a bit of a problem finding it - my understanding was that it was released in late July yet I can't track it down at a decent retailer I go to near where I live. They don't even have the film listed for upcoming release in their computer system so I'm scratching my head wondering what the deal is. I guess I can always order online but I was kinda hoping to just pick it up nearby. Anyways I'll track it down.

Great flick Just Before Dawn. :)

Ace, I was saying the same thing the other day, in that it is just listed as N/A here in Canada. I'm wanting it myself.....Bay St Video won't even tell me when they are getting it.

Ontrack easy recovery professional has done the trick for me in the past with a physically fukt HDD that was my emule downloads drive.

it is not the easyist soft to use as can be hard working out exactly what files are the ones you want to recover and it took 3 or 4 days to recover the data (the hdd was physically clicking very loudly as i dont think the head was aligning on the platter fully) but about 80% was useable after and saved me many weeks of redownloading stuff

Wouldn't a thanx for the flick look better than a reseed request for a first post :P

ignore TDL, he just has sand in his vagina

You'll probably have it complete, but i noticed a few extra clients when you use a BT client that has DHT (that's kind of like trackerless seed/peer lists). I don't know what client your using though, TDL like BitTornado i think he said, but i don't think that has it. Try BitTornado, BitComet or Azereus.

There's also another method with incompletable files on bit torrent, but it should only be used if you haven't seen a seed for days.
