I bought this on DVD a couple of years ago, one of my favorite films, and I highly recommend it if you ain't seen it.

its a tad cliché but I enjoyed it a lot too, even if its a tad self-indulgent and over the top. It makes up for it.

I knew you'd probably have a 'get out clause' hidden somewhere :lol:
Just looked at my DVD of this and the run time is only 137 mins, just wondering why it might be longer and whether to download this version....I've actually watched both the French language with English subs version aswell as the English dubbed version and unusually I preferred the dubbed version.

Don't worry then, i totally and utterly disagree with you again.
English dub was completely unwatchable, it nearly ruined the film entierly for me since its the primary track on the english dvd :evil:

Awful, awful dub... as always. I mean that line about "my usual glass of wine" is so terrible in english.

I can never wish a dubbed version of this movie even upon my enemies, its so awful.
