"Scrape" is a tag used on STF; it triggers a mod that automatically fetches certain info from various sites, like, in this case, IMDb: Title, year, rating, director, cast etc. :)

(for an example, look here, right below the poster.)

You need to be registered to see the results of the "scrape". Some samples:

Anime | Movies | Music

Ah, didn't know one needs to be registered to see the scrapes. Thanks for clearing that up, gx. :drunk:

huh, to be honest I think i've seen that at a number of sites... usually you can tell when the site content looks all f*cked up and wrong!

You guys like that feature?

Yes, there are quite a few sites that use this mod; very useful in my opinion, saves posters some time by taking the copy & pasting of basic information about the release off their hands. Also, it helps in keeping order, with posts appearing more uniform compared to the patchwork look that results from every user presenting these basic facts adhering to their own personal template.

I like it. It works even for TV series, games and maybe other stuff. What I don't like is that the data that gets "scraped" is not searchable. I add to my posts the director and cast, because it might help someone searching for them. If the result of scrape is not searchable, then it doesn't help.

Some torrent sites take this even to the next level. For example when you click an actor or director collected by the scrape, you can get a list of all the movies in the site with the same actor or director and so on.

Guys...could it be that the ending is missing ? Just watched it and it seemed that they are going to have an end-battle with that thing and then...credits roll ! WTF ?!?

Same here. Should there be a better or complete version....who cares. Seen enough of this film already.
