Have not seen it yet, but it seems to be a film with a supernatural theme: ...one due to his untimely death....

We were never that strict with horror, so from the description I'd say it does fit in here.

Well, the original was a pretty weak, soppy movie about The World's Most Pathetic Ghost That Can't Do Anything To Avenge His Murder* (the title should actually be "Den Oförmögen"), so the remake must be abysmal. The people in the remake certainly look dumber, which is already an achievement.

Anyway, by now everybody should know the new law of cinematography - "If there is a movie, there already is an American remake of it. That sucks."

*Well, the mutherfucker sure ain't The Crow:

"The Swallow" would fit pretty well though.
