I see my BSPlayer also has an option to "Load external audio file..."

Soon as the commentary completes, I'll give it a shot.

Yes, tried it and it works perfectly - took 2 seconds, and I can switch between the normal/commentary track while the movie plays :)

The video is really shaky and quite laggy. Was the source like that, or am I missing a codec?

Sounds like you're missing a codec, install the gknot codec pack 8)

Which codec with the bundle? Could this have been made with the newest xvid release? I can't check it myself as I deleted it accidently after completion.

The xvid in the bundle is Koepi's build, version 2.1, that should do the trick.
