Howdy,
Thank you for the raply, I remember the book well, I read that first then read breeding ground afterwards and wondered why it didn't make any sense, then realised slugs was the sequal to breeding ground. lol
Shaut Hutsons books are addictive, once I start reading one I just have to keep going with it lol.....
I know one film I would love to see if it was ever to be made, and thats a very close version to Shaun Hutsons Lucy's Child.
That was one major eerie story. 
Ohh well, I can but wish lol..
