New-9: I know what to do on normal connections, but I'm behind a NAT, I do not have a public IP, so it is impossible for me to have HighID, unless I use an internal server, which anyway cuts 90% of the external contacts. I can switch to internal server, but I'm not sure you will see me anymore.

Its near impossible to use emule at all if you have a low id, I'm suprised you can download anything, and certainly share anything.
People simply won't be able to connect into you and download from you 90% of the time, so you might want to look at alternatives.

If you have a lowid, you need to solve the problem immediately or emule just will never work well.

You need to check your router, firewall, and if your on a static ip, get another one allocated to you that doesn't end in zero. The only way you can't do anything about it is if your isp is throttling ports, which is extremely rare these days, then I'd have personally switched isp as soon as they started doing it. That kind of shit shouldn't be tolerated, and if they try and say its fair play, go ape shit at them

Its unjustified, and pathetic for a modern company to do such. I don't know how customers can standby and get f*cked like that personally...

edit: your behind a NAT, then why not just forward the correct ports? Are you not allowed access to it or something?

Thanks Spud, but no way. I've been using emule for 2 years (UP: 0.96 Tb, DOWN: 1.3 Tb) with LowID, and have been able to achieve the results you see between brackets.
Secondly, yes, I cannot do anything about it, I have no access to the NAT and I'm not changing ISP because it has the highest download speed than any other italian ISP (10 Mbit on fiber, 4 Mbit on DSL, which is the one I'm using).
I know NAT it is a stupid way of using connectivity, but that's it, my only chance is to switch to a 1.2 Mbit ISP and gain HighID, but I assure you that I prefer LowID with 4 Mbit.

Problems like this one are annoying, but solvable with a little patience, which is the emule philosophy.

Something I forgot to mention: I'm not using official emule, I'm using a mod designed for my ISP, it is tweaked to work at best beside the NAT, and on Kademlia I have HighID-Open, so I can be totally seen through that net.
