SUMMARY: A group of prisoners are being transported to a remote island prison, when a psychopath manages to escape during a storm to a nearby lighthouse. The ship sinks in the storm, and the remaining survivors struggle ashore to the lighthouse. There they discover the decapitated corpses of the keepers and realise they're being hunted - one by one. They attempt to survive until daybreak.

GORE: Theres enough here to keep the hounds at bay... they dont hit you over the head with it, but what is here flows rich and heavy. Rook decapitates the majority of his victims, but its the set-up that really scores the points here.

SOUNDTRACK: For all intents and purposes, it works... managed to create some intensity.

BOTTOM LINE: Give this one a chance. Dead of Night is so much better than the current teeny-kill projects that seem to overshadow the occasional gem. I probably would have never picked this one up if I hadnt read such positive things about it elsewhere. This is also a good movie to watch with mixed company (who dont really groove on slashers, but do enjoy a spot of action and suspense).

Since there seems to be some nice interest in this one I'm going to semi-powershare this mother to get it out there quick... all 35KB except keeping Halloween III in. Any complaints about not sharing some of the other files I currently have can be directed to Chuck Norris and his buddy d0c  .

Just to mention that this is actually fullscreen but ripped in widescreen, it needs changed from 16:9 to 4:3 in your videoplayer.

Found it and clicked. Thanks!
Let's hope the standalone will resize the video accordingly.

EDIT: Could someone please correct the topic. This one is from 2000 and NOT 1999. Thanks!

I found a 1.8:1 rip and got it through a torrent tracker. I am going to post it here once the current releases get spread well enough. So stay tuned, if you are interested.
