IMDB

Set in the year 1992, ten years after a limited nuclear war as destroyed most of the USA, scientist Paul Dean has developed a new form of leach-like parasite which can grow to large portions every time it eats. Then, evil government agents storm his lab and he's forced to flee deep in the nearby desert and persued by a "merchant" (government agent) intent on reclaiming the last two parasites Paul has. The first is in a silver container, the other is in Paul's abdomen. Paul seeks shelter in a small desert town populated by scavengers which threaten his work, while one local girl, Patrica Wells, forms an alliance with Paul to help him find a way to kill the parasite within him without killing himself, as well as find a way to kill the other one which gets loose and will soon multiply into many thousands unless killed soon.

OK guys. I managed to get my hands on a 1/6 AFR rip.
It seems like the one I found earlier (beside this rip posted here) for which I didn't see a full source in 20 days and therefore removed it.

Here is a screenshot of that 1/6 AFR version compared to the original rip of this topic (see image for details). My notes are:
1. The AFR seems to be a bit over-cropped at the top and bottom, but has in turn much more image on the left and right
2. The AFR has the original AC3 sound with 6 channels and a higher audio bitrate
3. The AFR has smaller resolution
4. The AFR has better colors (IMHO)
5. The AFR is 5 seconds less in playback time
6. The AFR has a higher quality factor

Image

Which one is the better rip now? I personally would prefer the "wide-screen" 1/6 AFR that I recently downloaded. Should I share it with you? High or Low Quality section?
I am waiting for your responses.

The AFR is much closer to the OAR of 2.35:1 than the other, so I'd go with that one mainly for that reason.

It generally looks better in the screens too.
