Quote:
The tea break is sacred. After an interminable period of work and before continuing with yet another stretch, these minutes of rest, of cold sandwiches and hot tea, of the unimportant newspaper and cigarette, is awaited and a pleasure when it arrives. Independently of your job (or even if you’re at school). One of the Festival’s favourite directors, Sam Walker, pops up his head in San Sebastián for the third year in a row (and on this occasion literally) with this work bathed in blood and routine. Having triumphed with Duck Children and after last year’s screening of Pool Shark, this British director once again surprises and unsettles with his particular talent for creating disturbing, unhealthy settings, for giving his stories a sense of humour and surrealism leaving no-one indifferent.
