As far as I know Blu-Ray discs usually have 24fps and there is no such thing on them as PAL/NTSC. |
You're right about the PAL/NTSC thing on Blu-Ray, BUT, there is region, three differents region indeed, so if you are Region A, you wont be able to read B and C, unless you have a Region Free Blu-Ray Player !
Regions for Blu-ray standard
A: East Asia (except Mainland China and Mongolia), Southeast Asia, the Americas and their dependencies.
B: Africa, Southwest Asia, Europe (except Russia), Oceania and their dependencies.
C: Central Asia, East Asia (Mainland China and Mongolia only), South Asia, central Eurasia (including Russia) and their dependencies.

A bit of research once it's released is the only way to be really sure, and this information isn't always on the packaging. |
Blu-Ray.com stated that this disc is Region B Locked, so unless you have a Region B or Region Free player, can't read it... (check the review, the guy say it, and it's written under the price tag).
But, if AnyDVD can remove the protection and the region code, why not on Blu-Ray.... never tryed it, but AnyDVDHD support HDDVD and Blu-Ray, so i'm guessing i'll be able to remove the region B Locked problem and watch it... well, i'll see, if i'm able to buy that Blu-Ray player for my PC !
Anyones can comment if they have tryed it or have a Blu-Ray player on their computer ?
