tv.com says there was one on on the 1st, but most people i've talked to said it never aired, don't think the next one is on until the 20th, although one site says the 6th.

I've not seen any hint of a link for the one that was supposedly on last according to tv.com.

afik, carpenter's episode was the last one aired.

It hasn't aired yet. It isn't on my SHO on-demand, so I'm more than positive. I've been waiting forever... They put up some semi-interesting specials, directors yaking and such. Agh!

Nope it was only aired in the states.

Didn't show it on my Showtime. I have watched every episode when they first aired. This one wasn't on at that time, nor is it available on my ONdemand. Seems I'm getting the shaft.

The BamHD rip of no.9 has a black border around all sides, but strangely the station logo overlaps it, so I'm not sure if this was intentional. A strange decision if it was.

Here?s a quick fix for the black borders: When you use VLC media player (tested with Version 0.8.4)
Go under Preferences -> Video -> Filters and check the "Crop video filter" box then
select the Crop entry under filters and type in the Crop geometry field "456x254 608 336" without the ""
if you have the 350 megs version or "721x398 960 528" if you have the hi res rip (700 meg version)
[got the pixel numbers via vdub rezise/crop filter]
Now you can watch the episode without the black borders and without reencoding the file via vdub etc.
Just remember to unchek the crop filter option afterwards :wink:

your a tad confused about the significance of cropping. That doesn't fix anything .... The damage has been done already by encoding without cropping the video quality has been significantly degraded at the source. Removing the boarders afterwards improves nothing, its just like zooming in on an area of the picture.

Fucking stupid thing to do though, this BAM release is utter garbage and I'm just checking another to see if there's any better.
