Are you local?

Dark, twisted, and downright sinister. It's sick but at the same time funny as hell. The latest series has taken a dark turn, and will seem strange to new viewers. Still it's hilarious and brilliantly acted. Series 3 is out on DVD in november, and will be ripped as soon as i get it if i'm not beaten to it.

Enjoy this BAFTA award winnning series! I'll rip the other series as soon as i can.

I have the xmas special on DVD if there's interest too. In any other series, the christmas special would be regarded as a an "Anthology of horror" kinda like the Simpsons Halloween specials. Just to point out how sick this series is

I have the dvds so can happily rip subs when I have the time. They only have English SDH (dunno what SDH means, something something Hearing, I presume)

They are all from nothern uk, and if you note in the very first episode, on the poster (one of the first things you see) the area code is 01484. That's the area code of my number :lol:

[huddersfield district - although covers the surrounding area into which I currently live]. Funny thing was, the 4 creators asked their secretary to go out and find "the bleakest shit hole" in the whole of England, which kinda sums up this area to a tee.

So I can confidently say, I am local :twisted:

Btw, SDH means ?Subtitles for the deaf and hard-of-hearing?.

These work perfectly fine.

For the first pack I tried every possible solution, including using different computers with different software and different codecs, but it didn't help much. Only ep. 1 was ok.

I uploaded SRT subs for Season 1 to <a href=http://217.64.35.213/xsubt.subt.link.php?dd=LeagueofGentlemenThe1999-English%5BXsubt.com%5D%5B9961113601%5D.zip>eXTra titles</a> if someone is still having problems.
The first subs weren't cut (episode 2 subs started at 30 minutes, 3 at 60 etc.) and one of the second batch subs was wrogn.

hmm i suppose that could explain why the first subpack didn't work, but why did it work fine for me when i tried it on another avi file? All sub packs worked

Hoepfully series 3 will be authored properally like series 2 was, will make the process so much easier :evil:
