SABLE NOIR (Dark Sand) (2006) (France)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0778571/

Kind of like the french response to "Masters Of Horror", with only 6 episodes, simultaneously aired on cable and released on DVD.
Unverified files yet, but they're downloading quite nicely. These are not my rips. The episodes are in original french language.

if subs turn up, let us know :)

Don't speak a word of french... well i do, but I don't think directions to the post office, barn yard animals and how many brothers and sisters there are is going to fill up much of the series

I heard this series is kinda bad but I'll check it anyway. Thx.
If I find it any good, I might make subs for it ;)

I just saw the first 4 episodes last night.
It's not a great series. French horror is rarely good, no offense to the french on this board, and I'm not gonna be proven wrong by this show.

Although Episode 1 and 4 are a total waste of time, episode 3 ("Fotographik") pretty much stands out (another crappy plot but it's visually interesting and the young girl's acting is amazing).

Episode 2 ("La villa Du Crepuscule") should be seen by all Lucio Fulci fans, as it tells the story of a geeky horror fan who wants to write a biography of Catriona MacColl (the beauty from The Beyond, House By the Cemetary) and starts stalking the recluse actress in her old mansion. MacColl plays herself and the numerous references to Fulci make the whole thing strangely pleasing ;)
