bbfc doesn't touch tv, the itc are the television censors and they only censor things after they are shown ( ). So if there were cuts, they'll be by the BBC and may well be undocumented.

So, six new minutes for episode 1? :beerchug:

daaaaamn, I'm starting to sweet. It's too much to download whole series again (4.6Gb is pain in the ass), but... but...

can you check runtime for other episodes please?

and that AC3 sound ...

Nah, just about 4.1GB. And the biggest problem I think would be the disk space. By now they seem to have as many sources as the pdtv ones.

Heh, sure:
E01. 52:58 vs. 58:18
E02. 52:40 vs. 58:11
E03. 52:54 vs. 58:04
E04. 52:39 vs. 52:51
E05. 52:03 vs. 52:16
E06. 53:53 vs. 54:13

So apparently the second half didn't have that much cuts. It's just 10-20 seconds each.

Yup. And the colours seemed a bit sharper to me too, although the PDTV were of very good quality none the less...

yeah HDD space is a bitch. and what the problem seems to be is that the more space you have, the more HDD space problems you have :matrix:

SO... I guess only first three ep are worth downloading. I'm too lazy to download new 700mb rips for 10 new seconds

that looks suspiciously like cuts to trim it down to 52 mins air time ;)

I've compared the PDTV and the DVD Uncut versions of Ep. 1 and there are some noticable differences, like Jackman's wife asking him "do you fancy a fuck?" or a short exchange between Benjamin and Christopher about silent Doctor Jekyll movies and few more here and there, mostly one-liners, missing. Overall the uncut episode has more flow to it and gives a little better insight into the series workings, but there is no gore (or guts or entrails or eyes on the floor for that matter any gray matter being splattered against the wall) missing whatsoever (and of course, it's not a very gory series anyway  ).

And yes, it definately looks like an excercise in trimming every episode down to the same run time (probably to squeeze more commercials into an hour), kind of like a certain very lame cut VHS edition of Conan the Barbarian which certain very naive Simon once bought :suicide:
