It's official! HBO & Warner Bros. have finally made the official announcement of Tales from the Crypt: The Complete 1st Season on dvd in the US, July 12th! The first season was only 6 episodes, but at least it's something! Here is a link to the article: http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=3230

good news, but how long's it gonna take to release all 7 seasons?

yeah, there'll be HDVD by then, which should be able to fit most of the seasons on one disc @ current DVD standard quality

Its like the simpsons, we get two sets a year, and we're only on series 5 :o Its not like there's anything amazing to justify this, unlike Red Dwarf discs, and they also do a series a year, and you get a shit load of extras, commentries, documentries, you name it.

Glad to hear we get a full disc of extras, would like commentries on each of the episodes by the directors and guest stars, but i doubt that's going to happen if you know what i mean ;)

I was really hoping the would do the whole series all at once. It would have been expensive, but I would have paid for it. My source has told me that the 2nd season would most likely be released in the fall (most likely for Halloween). So, yeah, it will probably be two seasons a year. Hopefully, if a lot of people buy them, that will prompt them to increase it a little!

It's the /* at the end of the link.....
Copy paste the link into notepad and remove the /* and it should work.
You have to mark Watch Clipboard for ED2K links in emule ,it makes the hole thing easier.

I got the official DVDs of the 1st season yesterday, it's quite a nice set and they did quite a good job on the packaging too. There is one disc with episodes 1-6 on, and another disc with special features. They even recorded a new intro for the DVD with Cryptkeeper, and he's on an easter-egg too.

Hopefully the other series will come out eventually too...

Well I would do, but I've no computer or home internet connection at the moment and haven't had for a few months! It's killing me. Seriously.

Did nobody miss me then, haven't been here for a few months!

Hi folks,

I made the dessicion to download all thes fine episodes, I watched in german TV years ago. I love these short stories.

I have two questions?

1. Because these are TV rips, are there any cencorship in several episodes you know?

2. There are several episodes which doesn`t have a single source anymore. Could someone reshare these episodes? One sourceless episode is:

Tales.from.the.Crypt.11.(2x05).Three's.a.Crowd.TVRip.[avatar].avi

greetings from germany

If you guys can wait a little longer... In a while (after I've released the season 3 of Twilight Zone) I'll start releasing the DVD-rips of season 1 TFTC.
