i really don't get it, their accents are overpronounced i would have thought it was a piece of piss to understand

The mumbling is a byproduct of doing it so well though, its the cheapass voice overs you used to get in 70s horror series :lol:

I guess its cos i was born in england so can speakz da queen;s english innit. :lol:

I expect they did most of that extra, but what should I do when I
can't even get 5% together of what they talk about. Not to
imagine to try to follow all their deeper "insider" jokes.

Don't get me wrong, my impression from the first episode and all
those captured pictures here is positive. Only, one needs to be
very sure into his/her/their English abilities to enjoy this really completely, imo.

Their visual comedy alone can't help me over that great handicap.
Except, it's Rowan Atkinson or the guys from TLOG...but then...
they talk & pronounce anyway in "Royal Shakespeare Theatre"
elite syle English. Ol' school of stage acting so to speak :lol:

hehe,dude i know is gonna come over andim going to show him an episode but not tell him its supposed to be a comedy. we dont get many (as in any) non-usa shows here, i want to see how long it takes him to figure out it's a comedy, or if he thinks the show is serious, and just bad.

Did anyone else notice the 'digital' aerial on the hospital roof whenever Rick goes up there to think?

So many visual gags you gotta watch it a coupla times to see em all.

Now about that codec? Will any divx3 one work, cos i thought i had the one from nimo.

i rewatched it with some friends today, warning them "oh the colours screw up on this episode but its piss funny so bare with it"... played it back and there was no discolouration.

Someone made the comment "yeah the colours look a bit off don't they" anyway :lol:

To which I informed them they were a dumbass

It's very weird, it's xvid but neither RC3 nor the latest build play it correctly. Samne with the older versions.

BTW, where did you get the screenshots that were posted with the links?

I did them all with nandub, the errors i got before updating ffdshow were at random times the colour would slowly bleed then go back to being okay again, so they were all points in the avi that the picture was fine (either that or I installed a bad codec after taking those screenshots, but i don't remember doing so)

Anyways, I installed ffdshow-20030523.exe and the picture is fine with that too, so do a google and grab that and see if its sorts it out for u.
