There's a DVDr on torrent:
http://thepiratebay.org/details.php?id=3345124
http://thepiratebay.org/details.php?id=3345270

Two discs in size and its downloading fast for me ~150kb/s. It maybe worth grabbing, I'll see if i can verify what quality it is. Doesn't look like there's any subs on the discs.

I've got them both complete.

They're both 4.36GB (I'm not sure, but I think they might have been shrinked to that size) in 4:3. No subs and no extras of any kind (except for the scene selection) with each disk containing 4 episodes. The quality is pretty good, though not stunning.

If anybody's interested, I can find them and get some screenshots.

File Size (in bytes):                           1,073,739,776

--- Container Information ---
Base Type (e.g "AVI"):                          MPEG (.MPG/.MPEG/.VOB)

--- Video Information ---
Video Codec Type(e.g. "DIV3"):                  MPEG2_Video
Video Codec Name(e.g. "DivX 3, Low-Motion"):    MPEG-2
Duration (hh:mm:ss):                            00:42:29
Frame Count:                                    76390

Top Frame First ("TFF" or ""):                  TFF
Broadcast standard: "PAL" (else blank)
Broadcast standard: "NTSC" (else blank)         NTSC
src:"VCD", "SVCD", "CVD", or "DVD (else blank): DVD

--- Audio Information ---
MPEG Stream ID (e.g. "0xbd"):                   0xbd
MPEG VOB file Substream(e.g. "0x80"):           0x80
Audio Codec (e.g. "AC3"):                        AC3
Audio Sample Rate (Hz):                         48000
Audio Bitrate(kbps):                            192

So apparently they're 29.97, NTSC. And the sound is only stereo.

I had a look at them and i agree, its not stunning quality but its about the best quality the series will ever be

Not a problem, its a tv series and an NTSC disc... i don't believe the series had anything but a stereo misc.

Extras are slim pickings, but at four episodes a disc, its probably a good job they didn't overload things.

Covers @ http://www.cdcovers.cc - the disc ones aren't too hot on the screen but printed on the disc it looks good.
