Here's Dagon, the culmination of two HP Lovecraft stories and one of the best of the lot. Lost of creepy moments, buttloads of atmosphere, and tons of scares. This is a great movie.

It starts as a businessman takes his first vacation on a small Spanish island. Form there things get dark. People and monsters congregate, formless shapes move about, and death prevails. Will our unlikely hero survive or die as a sacrifice to the sea God?

IMDB description

Sorry couldn't find a DVD or VHS cover to post here.

just watched this flick.. came with a bunch od disks in the mail... MAN it was so much better than I thought it would be.. I really liked it!! If you have had bad experiences with HP lovecraft adaptations then this might be the one to get you back on the horse.

in Stuart Gordon we trust 8)

I wish more movies of that quality were produced nowadays ... i mean it wasn't a cheap production, the "money level" was just right, and it felt good. I *really* loved the ending.

Thanks to Brian Yuzna & the spanish people from fantastic factory. They keep the genre alive (ok, they're not the only ones, but they do a nice job)

Nice one thought the end is lil' messy. But one of the greatest Lovecraft adaptations indeed! :)
