No subs, but how about a link for the movie? I've been searching (ok, not feverishly, but it's still high on my wish list) for a long, long time...

No, I'm sorry but I manage only with the absolute essential: "Una cerveza, por favor!" :(

I'm contemplating buying this. Anyone care to help me find a place where they sell the english subbed version, ship to europe and preferably as cheap as possible?

They sell it at Amazon.com but this comment is kind of dissuading:
Quote:
This has to be the worst looking DVD I have in my collection. The video quality is incredibly subpar, with really toned down colors and inexistent blacks. Yeah, the movie is presented in widescreen, but it's not anamorphic. I would bet my life that this DVD was mastered from a VHS tape. I swear I saw tracking issues at the start of the movie. And the subtitles are non-removable (and just as blurry as the video itself), ...P>As for the movie, what can I say, It's great. It is better documented elsewhere and if you are browsing this item, it means you know what you are looking for.

So I guess another edition would be preferable!

Did yet another search, just to check and found:
ed2k: Accion_Mutante_(Xg4ver_En_Subs).srt  [110.7 Kb] [Stats] Which I guess is the one PC_A said was in terrible shape.
ed2k: Accion.Mutante_us.srt  [105.0 Kb] [Stats] Which I don't see any sources for just now
ed2k: Accion_Mutante_DVDR.rar  [3.98 Gb] [Stats] I sent a PM to all the sources asking if they knew if there were english subs in there.
ed2k: Accion_Mutante.DVD-Rip.DivX.5.02.by.Seth-.txt  [71.8 Kb] [Stats] Are english subs, but terrible:
Code:
456}{536}But what you gave with the fervor?  You, gave not tighten am much!
{541}{576}We go to put stock-market to him
{580}{615}before it begins to shout like always!
{619}{655}Mmm mmm..
{659}{723}That is later, first is necessary to put stock-market.
{732}{754}- one is suffocating, eh!
{756}{778}- What is going away to drown!
{783}{830}To you that I am going to you to drown, you go dwarfed of excrement!
{835}{876}It is being perfectly.
{881}{922}Then every time less you move.
{927}{984}She will be tired!  We took half go hour with him!

I've got thes they're a re-pack of

ed2k: Accion_Mutante_(Xg4ver_En_Subs).srt  [110.7 Kb] [Stats]

and therefore not worth bothering with :(

Wish Spanish subs would come out at least.
Then just translate that..

But that would have been done before.=)
And this post wouldn't be here.

=)

umm, there are spanish subs for accion mutante, there's also a US release of the disk which I assume has subs, I'm confused as to why they've never been released on ED2K :?

The spanish subs can be found here:
http://www.extratitles.to/xsubt.subt.li ... 501%5D.srt

As for why the english subs haven't been released, I posted above:

Find in what way? As I said, they sell it on amazon.com But check out my post earlier about it. Doesn't look good.

Apparently the director was supposed to supervise a new transfer of the film on a new region 2 release, but I can't find it anywhere so something must've gone wrong...

Well I completed ed2k: Accion_Mutante_DVDR.rar  [3.98 Gb] [Stats]

Do you think it had subs?

NOPE!

It's otherwise a messy release. The (spanish) commentary is there, but some extras have beeen removed. Yet the menu is there, letting you select them, making it all messy.
