im looking for a new emule mod as the one im using is outdated and stupid and outdatedly stupid, everytime i search now the top result is

ed2k: Your.client.is.too.old..Please.upgrade.to.last.version.!  [942.22 Mb] [Stats]

me and most of my friends who use the same emule get the same thing

any recommendations from you guys on something that will work well alongside bittorrent without the 10k ul from both killing my dl (im with ntl uk isp and theyre half duplex faggots) and still give me bandwidth with which to surf?

thanks in advance

yeah me too, which is really annoying because the mule developers have added loads of useless dependancys to the new emule sources like microsoft text 2 speak. I mean ffs, text2speak? WTF? Very, annoying. Luckily the stuff i added, is part of the new morph anyway.

Gonna update to the new morphxt, however I notice that neomule is back with a vengance and 'unbanned' (not that it really was in the first place).

all it does is read out the statistics, totally overblown function-creep... infact it could be the dictionary definition of bloat.

As for the mods, yes, both are excellent, or neomule used to be before he stopped. All the important sharing stuff is there, ZZuL, powersharing, etc. They both downloaded well too.

ps. my emule doesn't do that with search actually, it just boots me from razorback saying its too old :(

I got that message whenever I connected to Razorback, so I updated to the latest eMule and MorphXT. No problems whatsoever here.

there is with me, morphXT crashes because of the number of temp files

I'm having to drop 100 into my temp folder, let them hash and reboot.

Why in god's name they need to rehash all of my files again is another matter :?

I am now connected to Razorback and using a 0.45b mod (Phoenix). I've never seen that message. Which versions of emule (how old) does it show up?

Am happily running this emule with Azureus 24/7.

IMO that has more to do with router than software.

Been running Morph 7.6 for a little over a day after keeping 7.3 for a long time, and it is working well. I think neomule may perform a little better than morph overall for some, but I had serious issues with it, plus it lacked some features I like, which is hard to believe since is has so many.

Lots of good info on both at the official forum.

Please do a fresh install each time, or you may get crap results and want to blame the mod instead a fooked-up preferences.ini, etc.

Yeah, 7.6 has been out for awhile now. Was waiting for a good time to try it out, since 7.4 was a mess.

Ahh! That was an issue with your version, the one I had for a while. I got the newer version, and never once has it had to rehash anything unnecessary. I HIGHLY recommend updating, you won't have to go through that again (man, did that always piss me off).

Err, at least newest besides 7.7. Thanks for the update, Charmed!

iv'e noticed the same happens with azureus for bt, with each upgrade it gets slower, although my net appears to just generally be slow these days for some reason, anyone know if ntl have started just implementing the reduction to 750k without notification or something?

I found MorphXt slow, but Stullemule 2.2 fixes the speed issues, despite being based on the same mod :)

stullemule? not heard of that one, i shall google it later when ive had something to eat, i tell u something i have missed since lsd went all those years ago, the ability to manually save and load sources, it really pisses me off that no mods have that anymore
