I'd reccomend that anyone who has not already - get Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer. It's a rather unflinching look into the twisted mind of a psycho. Definately a movie that will make you paranoid about cars that seem to be following you.

Coming From Cult Epics...
Image
Coming from Cult Epics on 7/26/05 is the DVD release of Manson Family Movies, John Aes-Nihil's interpretation of what the films that the family were rumored to have made might have looked like, using real footage of the family and much of their own music. Extra features include a director's commentary track, outtakes with optional commentary, Charles Manson's last interview (30 minutes), an original LAPD crime scene photo gallery, and some original Charles Manson artwork. The MSRP on this bad boy is $29.95 and the running time is 87 minutes.

Sweet... can't hardly wait. :D

I downloaded this one, thanks to whoever uploaded it. One thing though, i cant get the files to join. Apparently the audio on both files have differing bitrates. At least when i tried to open CD2 in either mainconcept or tmpg encoder it wouldnt open. when i opened the file in virtualdub it came up with a "Detected improper VBR audio encoding in the avi source file. Just thought i would mention this in case anyone else has a similar problem. Both cd1 and cd2 played ok on my pc, even though i had no way to join them.

i cleaned up this topic. removed the dead images and improved the pre-amble by taking it from wikipedia. There's still some dead/missing images next to the movies though.

:)

Harold Shipmen has had some tv movies/mini-series done about him. Don't have links or names though, just remember something about it on ITV in the uk. His kill count is very high :(

Quote:
Killer doctor Harold Shipman has died after being found hanging in his cell in Wakefield Prison.

Shipman was discovered at 0620 GMT on Tuesday by staff who tried to revive him, but he was pronounced dead at 0810 GMT.

He was jailed for life in January 2000 for murdering 15 patients while working in Hyde, Greater Manchester.

An official report later concluded he killed between 215 and 260 people over a 23-year period in Hyde and Todmorden, West Yorkshire.

The 57-year-old GP was given 15 life sentences to run concurrently for the murders, and four years for forging a will.

ITV drama:

http://www.manchesteronline.co.uk/men/n ... _film.html

Quote:
The authority had urged the Attorney General and the Shipman Inquiry to seek an injunction banning the broadcast.

At a meeting on Tuesday, council leader Roy Oldham described the broadcast as "cruel and inappropriate".

The Yorkshire TV drama stars James Bolam as Shipman and James Hazeldine as Detective Inspector Stan Egerton, one of four detectives who led the inquiry into Shipman's activities.

Mr Egerton saw a rough cut of the film before his death in autumn 2001, and praised it for its accuracy.

Hi - I don't know if this is the place to ask cos I'm new to this and am somewhat confused. I'm downloading "The Killing of America" which. has been stuck at 99% for about a 2 weeks! Can anyone help with this? I've only got 1% to go! Same with Absurd ( Anthropopagus 2) which is at 90% and Four Flies On Grey Velvet which is at 49%!
