And you're definately clicking the links I've collected below and not the entire series link?

If you select the links below and copy them, then in emule go to Tools > Paste ed2k links and paste all the links in there

ed2k: Garth.Marenghi's.Darkplace.-.Episode.1.-.Once.Upon.A.Beginning.avi  [166.36 Mb] [Stats]
ed2k: Garth.Marenghi's.Darkplace.-.Episode.2.-.Hell.Hath.Fury.avi  [225.16 Mb] [Stats]
ed2k: Garth.Marenghi's.Darkplace.-.Episode.3.-.Skipper.The.Eye.Child.avi  [238.35 Mb] [Stats]
ed2k: Garth.Marenghi's.Darkplace.-.Episode.4.-.The.Apes.Of.Wrath.avi  [275.60 Mb] [Stats]
ed2k: Garth.Marenghi's.Darkplace.-.Episode.5.-.Scotch.Mist.avi  [211.73 Mb] [Stats]
ed2k: Garth.Marenghi's.Darkplace.-.Episode.6.-.The.Creeping.Moss.From.The.Shores.Of.Shuggoth.avi  [252.81 Mb] [Stats]

[ Add all 6 links to your ed2k client ]

That's ok  it's not uncommon for new emule users to have problems.

Are you using a router or a firewall, if so which one(s)?
What ports is emule set to use (check setting > connections IIRC)?
What's your maximum upload and download speeds?
How many Max connections / Sources have you set?

Emule does demand patience and it also need a little configuring, see this thread for more questions and solutions :

Yeah they all cross over into other shows of the same style. They are all from the "boosh" crowd, which is why they've all hit tv at the same time.

The guy who played garth used to be the head zookeeper (not the owner) in boosh stage show, for the pilot, Dixon Bainbridge was played by the black guy, and then in the actual first series of boosh, it was the guy who played Sanchez

I know i posted it earlier, but The Mighty Boosh has really shot off and is extremely popular, second series is a lot darker/gothic and stylistic.

The black guy has also been in The IT Crowd, which also has Vince from Boosh (who was also the lead ape in the apes of wrath)

Julian Barratt (Howard Moon), was the priest:
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1027986/

Generally all the shows with them in are very funny :)

I went to see them, they were DAMN funny

The "spin off" shows aren't neccesarily good though Spud, the IT crowd was terrible IMHO, AD/BC is supposedly appalling as well (I can't find a link that's sourced enough to complete)

Nathan Barley (which has Richard Ayoade, Julian Barrat and Noel Fielding in) was very good though

Yeah IT Crowd hasn't found its feet at all really. it may do though if the writer's other series are anything to go by, and history repeats itself. Remember this is the same writer behind Black Books and Father Ted, both of which took off in the later series. I didn't think it was bad, some of the bits were okay in it crowd.

Anything Chris Morris makes is excellent, right back to The Day Today, Brasseye, Jam, Nathan Barley, etc. Ironically, IT crowd is probably the worst thing he's been in (even if its just a cameo)

Only series 1 of black books was writen by Graeme Linehan, he is generally pretty good though, hopefully series 1 of the IT crowd was a blip

On July 27, 2006, Darkplace will make its U.S. debut on Sci-Fi at 10 p.m. EST/PST

I URGE people in the US to watch this - it's VERY dunny and it might just convince Channel 4 to make a second series.

(although a movie is apparently in production!)

AFAIK the DVD isn't out until 2nd October (PLAY are listing that as the release date)

BTW look at this one star review from amazon

Lillian Montuoro - Horror Queen wrote:
Garth Marenghi's Darkplace is just terrible. The show wasn't cutting-edge or too scary to be broadcast as Garth Marenghi would have you believe - the show was probably axed because it was very very bad. I can't believe I wasted my precious time watching this hogwash. Thank God I wasn't living in Peru when the show was broadcast there. The series did not depict day-to-day hospital life accurately and the horror was undoubtedly poorly conceived. The costumes - the Gorilla costumes for example - were laughable. I actually did laugh when I saw the Gorillas riding bikes - pushbikes which made motorbike noises. How childish!

Let me say a couple of things about the acting. Dean Learner should stick to publishing books (by the way I've looked for Garth Marenghi's books and I am repeatedly laughed at by bookstore owners - what does that tell you about the author/actor?). Dean Learner acted appallingly and couldn't seem to stop looking at the camera man throughout the first season. There were scenes when he completely got out of character and looked at the camera with a smile on his face. Yes, he smiled in scenes that were supposed to be serious horror. I can't believe that this rubbish even got a first season back in the bad old 1980s. If you want a real hospital show, watch ER. If you want real horror, watch 666 - the movie.

LMAO!!!!
I love that last line, that's got to be a joke right? People can't be that stupid can they? I remember reading a promo that made out like it was serious but you only have to sit down for about 4 seconds to realise its a comedy show

Yeah, she's got to be taking the piss :)

ps. well some sites list it as being out, including the one i ordered from. Amazon says august, play says october, find-dvd says july 3rd:
http://www.find-dvd.co.uk/C4DVD10103.htm

Benson's world makes out as though they are stocking it:
http://www.bensonsworld.co.uk/dvd/70000 ... sp?aff=tdf

I'm going to cancel if they don't dispatch it, misleading scumbags.
