If all your settings are correct i guess you'll just have to be more patience.
It will start downloading but don't expect BT speeds all the time.

What's the "ALL SETTINGS" are correct?
Should I change something?

i think pure eluded to providing a link, try this for checking your settings:
http://www.dead-donkey.com/modules/faq/ ... tion=emule
However, the picture shows you completed the nfo, are you leaving emule running? It takes a while, and works best if you leave it running 24/7, i suspect most users here will have a machine they leave running round the clock to get the most out of emule.
Unlike bit torrent, emule network relies on 8mb chunk sizes vs a few kb, this means that emule has huge queues. So the clients benefit hugely from being left on for long periods of time. If you double click on the file, you'll see it splits into a list of peers, if you look just to the right of the spread bar, you'll see your position in the remote queues.
Emule does not benefit from dabbling, ie. loading it up, getting impatient, then closing down emule, only to turn it on the next day and repeating. Leave it on, make sure the setting are correct then leave it alone
Make sure your upload is set as high as you can spare, emule works on credits, the more you upload, the higher you'll get in people's upload queues without having to wait.
When you get to usage levels like mine where its on 24/7 and you do a lot of uploading, you can get the point of loading up the emule client and getting near instantaneous transfer starting. It doesn't get fast generally though, but it starts quicker. I would also recommend queueing up a series of movies, and files instead of just one at a time. Unlike torrent, its a true p2p network, rather than single file based.

Damn.
I got it downloading/running.
However, I got a bigger problem.
I called up my internet service provider and asked why I seemed to be disconnected from the internet and they told me it's either the server thought I am being infected with a virus or I'm working on a peer-to-peer network. And obviously, it's the latter.
They told me "I'm sorry, our server doesn't support peer-to-peer".
Is there a way, I can trick the server not to think it as a peer-to-peer? I'm using a broadband, by the way. And everytime I connect to eMule, after around 15 minutes, I got a complete shutdown of internet service and have to call them up to reactivate it.
Thanks.

omg, that's so lame.
Leave them, there's no point sticking around on such a shoddy isp. Your not on a budget package are you? Broadband without p2p is pretty pointless for me.

@ Spud yeah you're right should have posted the link. But i also saw the completed nfo file so i presumed he had it up and running the right way.
@Xerophytes That sucks big time. I don't know of any ways to trick 'em.
Like spud says i guess it's time for a new isp.
Cheers and good luck

I don't have a choice actually.
I'm leaving in a flat so everyone in this residence is actually using the same isp. By virtue, actually, I should be using my internet as my study tool haha... but that's not happening in most students anyway
*sigh*
I wish when I transferred to my new flat next year, p2p will be alright... poor me. anyway, I'll be going home in a few days, I'm hoping that the isp will be fast enough to download the flick I want...
Thanks everyone for help.
If anyone of you know a trick, please let me know. lol.

oh right, well then, there's several stealthy methods you can use but i'm not sure if it will work.
1. Don't use the default ports (4662, etc.), switch them to something unused and high or try using a known port, ie. 46972 or 80.
2. Try a anti-port throttling client, go to emule-project.net, register for the forums and look in the emule mods section for Sion or NeoMule.
1. probably wont' work since if they totally turn off your net, they are probably doing it through volume of traffic, and 2. doesn't work because not many people use them.
Does bit torrent work at all or do you have the same problem?

I'm using uTorrent and it work fine.
Even limewire works fine.
It just so weird that eMule doesn't work.
