A team-building weekend in the mountains of Eastern Europe goes horribly wrong for the
sales division of the multi-national weapons company Palisade Defense when they become the
victims of a group of crazed killers who will stop at nothing to see them dead.

**will add screens later on monday as its 5.20am at the min and i cant be arsed but it looks good to me on my HDTV**

PS i`m a touch baffled as to the file size on this tho, it seems to be neither fish nor foul...or something, IE not 1cd obviously nor does it appear to have ever been a (joined) 2cd and yet it doesnt comply to AFR sizing either.....anyone got any clues what the score is?

Is this a 1pass encode? This would explain the filesize being out and why those screens don't look very hot at all. That is unless you've overly compressed them? Don't go above ~10 for compression on jpegs or they pixelate.

I downloaded a re-encoded DVD5 of this and it looked way better than those screens make out.

I'll leave it here until someone can confirm/deny that though.

since no one has/can provide any further info on this i`m gonna STOP sharing it, and as i`m as far as i can tell the only full source then it`ll no longer be here.

there dosent seem to be much point in it being in my shared folder anymore

How are people supposed to provide any info until they've seen it??
I've never seen a full source, in fact I've never managed to download even one chunk of this rip, so I can't even preview it.

If you're taking it off share I'll delete it from my mule and move this post to dead / invalid releases

Its a decent movie btw, the AFR is inevitable, as are the flood of release group rips that are a tad more verifiable.

Those last batch of screens look much better, i guess the top ones are just overly compressed.

oh well, still an odd filesize :)

well i`d had no requests for it and only found my amazing dissappearing post when using the search function to look for all my posts.

I was kinda hoping that someone else might have d/l the same version as i did fom usenet.

I think it could be an idea that if a post is gonna be moved that there be some way of letting the OP know that it was moved and where it was moved to, cos if i hadnt thought to check "find all posts by" then i never would have figured it out, cos i bet "screeners and unverfied releases" is a forum section less travelled.

I was puzzled about the file size when i grabbed it to start with but thought it was to do with pars and the like and only figured it out when i unrared it.

considering it only took an hour or so to d/l from usenet it was worth it to watch it before it showed up anyplace else...and yeah it is pretty good too, just ignore any comparisons to Shaun Of The Dead that the (american?) advertising makes.

I dunno, plot and content wise its obviously not. Same kind of off-horror humour though, and its clearly british. I'm not offended by them being mentioned in the same sentance since they are clearly of the same vein if not really much alike.

Thinking about it, over the past years british horrors been doing okay. Shaun of the Dead, Severance, Dog Soldiers, etc. All some of the better horros of the respected years. Wish the government would put more money into the british gaming and film funds, it usually produces results.

Yeah i never got round to moving it so it`s still shared.

I suppose it is somewhat similar in tone to Shaun Of The Dead, what i was really getting at was the trend in advertising at the moment that every movie is "the best since" or "the funniest since"

The goverment generally only gives money to things that blow but once in a while they do get something right.

What might have been better is if Richard Branson had got the lottery contract, cos I`ve a feeling that he might have been a bit more impartial/less ramapantly PC than the goverment when it comes to assigning lottery funds.
