Ok, can anyone please tell me why I can't find certain files on eMule? For instance, 'The Night of the Hunter'. Are there certain words that remain neutral (so to speak) if searched on eMule?

nope, works fine for me... were you connected to an emule server and kad? you should see a globe with two green arrows, these must be green to search:
ed2k: The.Night.of.the.Hunter.1955.DVDRip.DivX-Schubi.avi [701.90 Mb] [ Stats]
Unconfirmed.

Yeah, I'm connected to both of them. I'm not new to eMule, I've been using it for quite some time, but stuff like this never happened. I'll try reinstalling it or smth. Thanks for the link, anyway!

hub? DC++ died years ago.
or do you mean a server? Servers are largely irrelevant, KAD gets you lots of sources. Just order by users and connect to any one with a fairly large number of people on them

"Telling 1991" should do it, but no hits.
Just a side note, this is why you need the date in your rips people, stick to the TDX filenames, drop the silly brackets round your years, etc.

I get annoyed a LOT by having got a film, which then turns out to be dubbed either in french or especially often spanish. Is there no way to walk around these european server lists, or does anyone have good server listss?

Where's the connection between european servers and dubbed movies?
Maybe because the fact some europeans like to watch dubbed movies?? AFAIK you have equal chance in a dubbed (wrongly named file, or else you would know it's dubbed) file on either a european or let's say UK or any other server.

americans watch more dubs than europeans, i think if you said german servers you'd be closer to home
Generally uk is very tolerant of OL, except the american dubbing nature sometimes filters across.... that's annoying.
The easiest way to check the language is to view the alternative names under details, most times it will indicate dubbing.
However it really bugs the crap out of me that they continue to use the english name when its dubbed, use a friggin "dubbed" non-english name for pete's sake!
