what's with horror in the hood films? Obviously the best one is clearly Candyman which works well, but there's loads of others, Hood of the Dead, Leprachaun whatever: something to do with the hood, etc.

You read the short Clive Barker story Candyman's based on? Set in a Liverpool council estate. Now THAT'S scary! (Although unrealistic, he would have been happy slapped and had his hook stolen.)
