No, worked first time in mozilla, opera and ie. I was not logged in in any way.
Pasted in your link, and hit return. Results came up. Pressed F5 and it said wait 30 seconds. Waited 30 seconds and hit F5, and the results came up. I'm having no end of trouble reproducing this problem on any of my machines. That's five different machines on 3 different OS, on 3 different browsers.
Delete your cache, the only thing i can think of is you have a time in the future in your search history. Don't know how that could happen, especially since i've deleted the server side session cache several times. Either that or use a different browser temporarily and see if you get it, if you don't then the problem is likely local.
I could see the problem when it was originally reported but haven't seen it since the newer functions.php was uploaded and the sessions table was cleared out.

In regards to hotmail, i've reported a problem and filled in a form saying i'm not filtering mails which has now been escalated further. They've not done anything, the fix, i suspect is to load up the blocklist, type in an ip, hit delete, type in a domain name, hit delete and then email me saying its fixed

Unless I'm not quite understanding the issue myself, you've just reproduced it. But I'm not experiencing any wait 30 secs messages as long as I'm logged into the front page. Front page mod benefits? I remember you adding a delay on searches to the old board that you lifted for frontpage mods, but nobody complained at the time so it seems wierd that several months later & a new board that people have only just started to notice it

You are not quite understanding the bug report. You can have one search every 30 seconds to prevent floods / DOS attacks. Frontpage mods do not have this restriction as they are posting movies to the frontpage so obviously have a priority on being able to find titles. For users that are logged in, this is 15 seconds (although it will say 30 seconds) If the problem is you can only do one search every 30 seconds when not logged in, then there is no problem. As I described, i pasted the link and hit return and i got results (ie. the search functioned fine). Then i hit F5 immediately and it said wait 30 seconds (ie. I am restricted to one search every 30 seconds, the search is still functioning fine). That is the search working as it should. I then waited 30 seconds and I could search again (ie. the search restriction was lifted, and the search was still functioning fine). That indicates there is absolutely no issues with the search. I'm not saying there aren't any issues, I just can not reproduce them If: immediately it says wait 30 seconds (ie without allowing one search) or it always says wait 30 seconds (ie. you can not search) There is a problem. However I can't get it to do either of those so i'm having trouble following what people are talking about.

I have unfortunately decided that all registration attempts for @msn.com and @hotmail.com will be blocked and users will not be allowed to register using those accounts. This is unavoidable due to microsoft not progressing the issue or notifying its users that they are censoring mail before it hits their inbox.

I sent hotmail another email this morning stating the following: Quote: | 8 days have passed since your last reply. I'm wondering how long its going to take to resolve the issue? I received an email from you asking me to respond to how well you did regards fixing the problem, does this mean that you think that you have fixed it because you havent. Nobody at all using hotmail/msn accounts are receiving them yet. I dont know why you even bother with spam blocks as I still get spam from random sites & you are stopping legit emails. The site has now blocked all registrations from people using hotmail accounts so well done on that one!!
You even got this wrong despite detailing very clearly my problem: Wanted mail going to junk:Sender's in allowed list Its not going to junk, you are blocking them from even arriving in my hotmail inbox. |
They just replied saying: Quote: | Thank you for writing back to Windows Live Hotmail Technical Support. This is Devenz and I have read the correspondence between you and my colleagues about your inability to receive the e-mail messages from Dead-donkey.com accounts. I understand how important these messages are and your need to have your concern addressed immediately. The email delivery problem between Hotmail and Dead-donkey.com has been escalated to the Sender Escalations Team. Resolving this block is a priority for us. However, these blocking issues are rarely simple and often require a good deal of work to fix the underlying problem. Of course, we recognize that your desire is that email from Dead-donkey.com be delivered to Hotmail. If Hotmail is blocking your sender or domain, it is in response to a violation of our best practices and done to protect Hotmail customers. The Sender Escalations Team is dedicated to investigating these blocks and assisting other domains with their outbound spam problems. We appreciate your input and involvement in our Windows Live products. |

I meant refresh my memory as to why you are using it. I pick on my wife all the time because she refuses to give it up.
