I've continuously tried to get my hands on a DVD with the correct AR and no hardcoded German subs around here, with no success. No surprise people have to download rips... :roll:

The Anchor Bay DVD I have has the correct AR, is it rare?

There are plenty on Amazon Marketplace for not too much.

Well I haven't looked for it online yet. There are dozens of version in DVD stores around here and all have at least one fault.

There is even a collector's edition with a nice metall film box, but it also has the hardcoded German subs.

I'll look for it online. Thanks for the idea. LOL.

hmm, there seems to be a lot of "noise" in the picture... but man it's been so many years since i've seen it for the last time! all i had so far was a vhs-copy and a mpg-vcd or something.

don't even remember what ar it was. probably the best choice/rip if someone couldn't find a decent dvd yet. which definitely isn't as easy as it sounds, since there are way too many shitty dvds out there. so thx a lot!
