Argh, I've been stuck at 99.9% for days, only 256 Kb to finish, but I can't get'em. :( I see one full source, but it just sits there never uploading. Can anyone reshare for a little while?

If not, then you can play this file perfectly. I have had flicks which were incomplete, missing a few MBs and they played without any problems.

That's probably, because your player ignores junk video data. If you download a movie eMule creates (after at least one chunk is completed) a file on your harddisk which is 1:1 as big as the one you would download, but full with junk. The junk is replaced with the chunks you download.

My standalone stops to play videos if the data in the file is corrupted. VLC on my pc completely ignores junk and jumps over it.
