You not should be using the ips, you should be using the hosts file entries until the dns is fixed and use domain names.
The scifi site is served on a virtual host:
http://scifi.dead-donkey.comis the only way of accessing it because a few other subdomains will be served by its ip. What apache does is examine the request hostname and then serve the correct site, as I have several subdomains on that ip, it will just go to a root page if you hit it via ip
Please add the following to your hosts file:

Then restart your browser.
Sorry you have to do this but since our domain name has been completely bundled by a third party, I'm left a little powerless to fix that particular problem
