Sorry for reanimating this thread from the dead but I don't understand why everybody is bitching about the Dahmer movie from 2002...I think the acting of Jeremy Renner as Jeff Dahmer is great and the movie really tries to give you a glimpse into the perspective of Jeffrey Dahmer's mind with all his fuck-ups in life....I think the gore is secondary in a movie about a real life serial killer.....

PHEW!!! When I got a notification about a reply to this I thought it was gonna be a request to update the original post. That would be too much work for me now after all the tons of things released.

As to your question: I agree with your point, but still 'Dahmer' is just not a very good movie. First of all it's very boring. It fails to give an insight into Dahmer's mind but instead only documents some of his actions with great flaws. Download the 'Profilers' release by Kat to see what I'm talking about. Also, this had the potential to be a thouroughly terrifying experience without over-dramatizing or using too much gore (as you mentioned) simply because the actual events in themselves are so horrible and though to take. Instead it apears the creators tried to ponder about the reasons for his seamingly unexplained insanity, but their quest does not offer any explaination or possible motivation, and therefore fails dreadfully.

Then again, I'm very tired right now (so please exuse my typos) plus it's been a while since I watched it and movies that I don't enjoy very much slips into a blissfull state of forgetfullness with sometimes outrageous swiftness.

Is nobody bothering with this collection any more? I just downloaded the 1972 Manson movie from BT, I can release if you want (but my internet connection at home died this morning so won't be for a couple of days and I've got a few things spreading at the moment too).

Or if you want you can just do what I did and get it from BT:

BT has proven itself as an asset to support releases and get files spread on edonkey. I believe the justification behind a thread relying solely on a BT link is lacking, but in support of a release i'm all for it.

It is unlike posting sig2dat or any other ghastly 'technology', and in support of ed2k too. Look on any bit torrent site and most times the admin and users will all use edonkey/emule too. 'nuff said. The only thing I can think that is bad is thatof stealing bandwidth from othersites. Perhaps they should be downloaded and uploaded to a lycos.co.uk site? That might be better than shoving them as is and the file is less likely to be deleted too.

Anyways, you sickos can get back to your cerial killing... I'll never have a bowl of coco-pops :matrix:

Tnx for the link. Allmost complete. Happy times! =)

As for this collection, I've kind of put it on pause. Keeping a coll up to date, can be quite alot of work and I'm kind of tired of it all. I'm doing some updates on the Troma collection every now and then, but it takes me a couple of hours every time and even that is very tiering IMHO. But if you're a more energic person than me, be my guest. I could send you the post soucre if you'd like. There are alot of films to be added, especially all of Kat's great releases.

BTW, I'd like to get ahold of these clips:
abcnews.go.com/sections/primetime/DailyNews/st_louis_killer_030109.html
Sounds like they're the closest thing to snuff publicly availible..
It says 'watch for free' but you have to register with a visa first, which I don't have (and wouldn't have done either had I had one).

Hmmm, nobody has Citizen X? Which I think is based on Andrej Chikatilo, The Butcher Of Rostov, you know that Russian beast. :-o I've been told it's a good movie, not gore but a good movie. Well, just asking.
