I tried about 4, all have the same shit.

The problem is that the vobsubs have bad OCR setup, so you have to write it by hand in SubRip

Try SubRip 1.17.1 and u see

Bad OCR?

Never come accross subs that I can't convert!
How can you prevent that from hapening in the first place?

This one i think is bad created as orginal on the dvd, so it is a little hard to prevent your self from :wink:

This is the first time i ever seen a so bad orginal sub.

Well it is an independant SHORT film!!!

But yes the subs are poorly done on the DVD and not the fault of the ripper!

OUt of interest, I though .sub .idx was the standard sub format and that you can convert to any sub format from these?

When you do a sub release should you release .srt or .sub/.idx?

Both probably i bet :wink:

I've converted them to SRT and set to release, but since I haven't got the movie yet (only 1 source), I don't know if they work OK or not.

There are at least 3 full sources for this (as there should be for all our releases), the queues have been going a bit mental as demand for Halloween 666 is quite high (! VERY HIGH !) and seems to be pushing everything else out.

Let us know If there are still source problems :)
