I'm doing the same thing, hope it's still available! @P-S, I can't see you as a source for the 1st file, do you have any chunks?

Me really wants this one.

I'm looking for a good place to buy this one too, I'd like to have the DVD, but unfortunately in my country it's not that easy to buy it.

I've completed all 6 parts. I'll keep the files in sharefolder for about 2-3 weeks.

nice one, I've been sharing all of them since I got them, but its been a nightmare trying to get some of them, no one seems to be sharing them on any respectable priority and you just can't get into their queues....

I have:
ed2k: BRAINDEADFSK18.part6.rar  [654.74 Mb] [Stats]
to go (@366.35mb)

Hmm, that's not too long considering the size of this release and the fact Spud mentioned, that noone is sharing it on high prio...

Could you at least maximize the priority? PLease? I got 19 MB of it in a week's time.

screens taken raw in powerdvd and then converted to jpg

if there's someone with spare bandwidth who can keep these spread, would be much appreciated, it took ages to get these buggers through everyone downloading god only knows lot and sharing them on low. Those that kept em shared, greatly appreciated :beerchug:

I'm sharing all but i have the problem of many other releases.

I share all 6 parts on release priority. Everything else is set on very low. It's going pretty slow, because my upload is set to 24 KB/s.

The total amount of transferred Braindead data from me to others adds up to 11 GB and that's not very bad.

I'm usualy on from 22:00 until 20:00 the next day and then I go off for 2 hours so my little brother can play with windows 98 (don't ask why). Razorback is the name of the server. 8)

I put parts 1 and 6 back in my shared folder on release prio.

If you set a4af to either one you should start downloading from me. :)

I'll do the same with the other parts when I get the HD space.

question:

how much space does one save putting the vob files in archives? ie. .rar .. do they compress well?

Not the German Red version, but it is Braindead, not the hacked up Dead Alive released here in the states. It's a PAL region 2 disc as well. I've also seen this used on amazon for around 10 bucks. Haven't found a outlet for the German release yet.

Well its all down to sound quality:

If you want the better sound mix, German Red Edition it must be :)

Actually I've had BrainDead on DVD for some time. Unfortunately the site distributing it - blackestheart.com has since ceased operation. Too bad as they had movies we all have here nin the rips on VHS and DVD - uncut!!! Not to mention low prices. Got Braindead for 9 bucks, and it is the NZ version with the corpse fucking scene removed from the so called uncut version of Dead Alive (not to mention with the scenes not juxtaposed around like Dead Alive). It's got a Stereo soundtrack. Don't know what the German version has.

I am still looking for the Red Edition, can't find it on Amazon or anywhere actually. The uncut version is also available for a few pounds form amazon.co.uk, but if it's possible I'd like to have the German Red one. Let me know if you find any...
