Your isp still giving you one of those crap ips you mentioned a while back (it was you that was getting screwed over with filtered ips right)?

edit: your ip doesn't respond to ping requests, that means blockage somewhere :matrix:

Hm, perhaps it's because my ip is getting filtered by some server on the way...I stopped seeing you aroud the time my ISP introduced this ip range, so this may have something to do with that. However, I can see some ppl again who seem to have "disappeared" at the same time as you, so perhaps it will be soon fixed. I know hosts all over the world are now supposed to be unlocking this ip range...

Outch, this can take quite some time. When I was an admin, I wrote a firewall and blocked certain ranges, which were marked as 'reserved'. Month later I learned that they were freed, when angry customers called us and complained that our servers were not reachable. :wacky:

neither did I, when I could see him but it was very tempremental and he'd dissappear for ages. It will have been the same with you I suspect.

My isp is not going to do anything about it either, so I guess this woud be the only way. The packets are blocked on bulldogdsl. However, I can still see Bassline and download from him very often. So I guess it's not the whole UK after all. Thankfully.

I've never used eMule via proxy, I guess I'm too lazy to mess with that. Proxies are sometimes down etc. I'll leave it as it is. Hope you were able to get Dead Ringers, btw, I remember you wanted it.

@wargand: it may take a lot of time as I'm not able to contact all the hosts in the world, neither is my ISP. However, the latter has secretly closed the special e-mail address where the users could send feedback about this problem, because according to them "everything is solved and working now". I'm glad that at least those guys are happy and satisfied.

yeah ringers completed eventually.

I meant by proxy as in via other clients, not as in use proxy servers... i'd forgotten you could use proxy servers with emule to be honest.
