It was devoid of any plot whatsoever,They might have just scrapped the acting entirely and just had 90 minites of zombie feast without any acting whatsoever...would have improved in my opinion.
You want the rippers to stop releasing doc?

Seems that Dawn of the Dead is F*****d. This is the second time I've tried downloading it. Many, many corrupted parts. Seems that it isn't only the directors cut but also the theatrical cut on cd 2.

The one in this thread/frontpage? It is the director's cut, both discs of it. It's not a great rip but its the director's cut, I have this one downloaded and previewed just now to see if there was some mistake. Both cds are of the director's cut, scene change in the lorry before the leg bite :)
http://www.dead-donkey.com/modules.php? ... ent&id=104

2hrs18mins or 138mins (director's)

I also recently posted a decent copy of the Theatrical (best version) on the mainpage in decent quality (thx to psykopat I think it was who posted @ fh.org)
http://www.dead-donkey.com/modules.php? ... ent&id=421

2hrs07mins or 127mins (theatrical

The first one is definitely fine (beside from it not being a decent encode), its the whole movie. The second one is apparantly the whole shabang too.

Make sure your downloading these versions.

So that leaves two extra versions, the argento one, which is shorter still (and crappy) and then the German extended version.

Anchor Bay is apparantly releasing a box set sometime with them all in, but the director's cut could indeed do with a re-rip.

edit: I also added the theatrical cut to the first post, signified the director's cut was indeed that cut.

@bushdiver, can you post the hashes of what your downloading? I can't see anything wrong with wrist release beside it being a not too hot encode.

hmmm I really think you have some seriously problems with your system/client/firewall somewhere. Those files are all fine, and downloaded fine by me :), using an emule client. That your getting it on two of them almost certainly means the problem is 'at your end' as it were.

Corruption maybe coming from packet loss which is normally the result of a poor/lossy connection. Check that your TCP receive buffer is not too high which can be a overlooked cause of corruption.

http://www.dslreports.com/ have some excellent guides on analysing

http://www.dslreports.com/tools -> line packet report, but I'd do a few of the tests. It will highlight any causes for corruption and hopefully how to fix them.

That your getting such thing on both must mean something is wrong with your connection somewhere. If it isn't your connection, then it must be your software, switch to vanilla emule and make sure you have "combat 0-fillers" or whatever the anti-corruption option is called in preferences.

However, using emule I downloaded those files with no problem, so the problem definitely lies with your setup somewhere. If it isn't any of the above mentioned, I think you'd be best asking @ http://www.emule-project.net

I'll take a look at what you've suggested. My connection is good and I haven't had any problems with the other files that I'm d/ling, just these twp particular films.
Thanks for the reply!

I'd like to suggest Plague of the Zombies (1966), a really cool Hammer flick. Just bought it yesterday, but I don't have a DVD drive in my pc, so I can't rip it (can I? I really don't know s#!? about computers).

Here's the link to imdb http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0060841

Don't know if I should post this on the 'request' topics, fell free to delete it.
And please excuse me for my lame english, it's not my first language :)
