What's the best way to convert 25b files to work with a 30 MOD?

Is that all I need to worry about?

Hate to leave my known clients, just hit 65,000.
Anyway on saving that also with an upgrade?

thanks.=)

can you not just copy all .part .met files etc over to the new 30a client/mod directory once unzipped?......or was the old mule a different set up :?

Are you asking about patching your current mod to 30, installing a 30 based mod whilst retaining all your settings or updating to 30

The first is needless complecated and would require large segments of source code replaced, reworked and moved. Simply install a new mod, a lot simpler :)

To simply update to a latter mod, drop the .exe in your emule directory 90% of the time it will work fine, but there may be incompatability. zip up your emule directory anyways. Some files won't need replacing, like known.met which is universal :)

If your just updating, delete ur mule directory and then create a new one. Point your temp and incoming directories to the right location :)

sorry spud, you fucker. :mrgreen:

About temp folder shit.

Heard that part.met and .met files were unreadable from an upgrade. As they use a different system for temp files.

Looking for a nice tool that will work to convert the files to work with v30.

Don't give me one unless you used it yourself!

that's my left kidney.

your mistaken, the part met files are unchanged to my understanding.

The only client to play with the part / part.met format is the new edonkey, emule is still using the same format it always has
