Seems bogus to me, the longest versions are asian (104 minute)

here's something I took from IMDB, not that THEY are always right though

There are a lot of different DVD versions of 'Braindead' on the German market. On all of them, a different running time is printed on the box (99 to 107 mins), but all run 100 mins and are uncut. One version released as 'Dead Alive' features both the German and the English audio track

(sure I own a shitty VHS copy, also a VCD version)

I see one full source for CD1, and since about 5 hours ago, I've got 40MB of it. I've got nothing for CD2. But it was just released yesterday, and I haven't seen any release threads at SR or FH (I found it in a thread at FH about an old rip) give it time...

I didn't notice the rip was so fresh. I can see 2 full sources for cd1 now, some 1-chunk sources for cd2, but if it's still shared there's no reason to worry, it will spread.

Preview showh the quality for this one is really great, it seems to have correct AR etc, plus if the playing time is correct this is the longest version, so if it spreads we won't need another rip.

The second CD is around 7% and no further progress! I see 13 sources but also the nasty zero in front of the 13 :cry:

I start to worry a bit. Since hours incl. the entire past night, no move. That file is marked red, and that's anyway a bad sign...

This was just released, so perhaps they are waiting for cd1 to spread until they switch to cd2.

Sources for CD2 almost exploded, since yesterday. CD1 is now complete and in share. CD2, 13% ready, so far (close to double of yesterdays value within just a few hours). Who ever is responsible for that, thx alot.

Satan, I don't know if it is verified. All what I can tell you is that what my emule is telling me. Now, for CD2, 7/45 sources. Looks good, if you ask me. The other question remains, namely, is it really uncut. The quality of CD1 is superb. I need to see the end of CD2 to tell you if that thing has some cuts. Ya know, the unbeleavable long & bloody splatter sequence with the lawn-mower, for example. :wink:

Especially that long sequence was since ever the main place where those primates from the censor office would apply their scissors on! :rage:

It IS Braindead and it IS superb quality. So yet, it is verified. But some chunks are still light blue and I don't know if it's really uncut. that's why I'm going to wait for a few days. Anyway, it's certainly worth a download - probably the best version we'll ever have.

We don't have it yet so we only know what's in the info, that's why I'm waiting with the final confirmation. If the nfo is true this would be the longest available version though.

that would be odd indeed, I was told Red edition is the longest version out.

BTW, do you mean uncut or extended guys? Because the Red Edition is uncut whatever way you look at it
