Sweet as!

:beerchug:

Still havent seen this, but that will change soon

IMDB trivia....

Romero has confirmed that there is no known existing copy of the legendary 2 hour 45 minute cut at a recent screening of the film in New York City.

Doh! :eatthis:

Well you definitely have to see this!

And that extra long print was stolen, sadly. I should have ripped the commentary with Romero, Amplas, and Savini. They rip on Savini's hair, its funny and informative.

I was very disappointed there was no properly done rip of this. Theres an oversized german one, and an undersized one. For shame...

This movie is one of my all-time favorites. Great atmosphere, interesting characters, and an original plot.

BTW, if any one has a film called Mary, Bloody Mary, I would like to see it. Its a mexican flick from 1975 that applies a similiar idea (vampire or crazy person).

Cheers Necro :beerchug:
Is your rip the AnchorBay commentary or the newer one? Being widescreen, I think it'd be the newer one?? (I have the AB dvd, so hoping it is)

(commentary of George Romero, R. Rubinstein, T. Savini, M. Gornick and D. Rubinstein,
dunno if it's the same as the AnchorBay one, sorry)

Quote:
From director George A. Romero comes a dynamic gothic original. Martin is both frightening and intentionally funny with ironic twists Hitchcock would envy.

Martin is a misunderstood young man who happens to be a vampire...maybe. The sun really just bothers his eyes a little, garlic and crosses have no effect, and he has no fangs. He also doesn't have any vampiric powers, which makes acquiring blood an extremely harrowing experience for all involved.

An excellent combination of satire and gore Martin is a real cult classic with new subtleties you'll pick up each time you see it.
