Still can't decide whether i liked it or not

Its supposed to be a pretty poor rip apparantly, there might be a proper later. Screenshots suggest its far darker than it should be and the colours are off.

Well... didn't see this one yet - guess I should atleast give it a shot.

hmmmm... Not too much a fan of those watermarks..

still not great quality either if you ask me. The DVD screener has nice bright colours, but its got watermarks

Standalone playback is less then stellar as well...real pixalated every 10 seconds or so.Not that it matters...but just a heads up for those with the standalones.The movie was alright....it went too resident evil though for me....I always considered the monsters in doom to be demons...which is not the case in this movie...there is a great little fps part though towards the end of the film...I did think that was cool...just like the game...the new game mind you not the old doom.

You'd be considering an actuality, although its obvious in all the early Dooms, they say it repeatedly in Doom3 to remove any doubt, and i believe in each one you descend into hell, or a hell dimension. Definitely in doom3 since that's the last one i played.

In the third one iirc, there's an alien race and you discover an alien artifact but basically it revolves around an alien civilisation being wiped out by unlocking a hell dimension, and of course, the humans then do the same thing.

I never really got to play the 3rd one that much...I started in on Half life 2 and never got around too finishing or even looking up the game plotline.I knew I wasn't just old and senile and they were demons....I had so many mods for the old doom I lost track of the original game No beholder demons in the movie either...Like I said the movie doesn't even hint at a dimension to hell..Its' all just scientific research gone awry in the movie....which totally reminded me of Resident Evil...Except without a hot no breasted chic running around.

3rd is okay if you got a decent gfx and mor eimportantly sound system, some nice environmental effects, but its mindless shooting and gets boring very fast.

I've yet to play quake4 because of how lame doom3 was.

Speaking of RE1, you see the Gamecube remake? Boy did that version own all others, really top titty... not RE4, but the next best thing to it. they've got a DS remake of it in progress true which i find quite amusing.

The DS remake is out in Japan, I'll try it and let you know. It looks as tedious as all the other 1-3 though
