I have to ask, do you work for him, or know him, or something, because its not the first time you've sprung to the defence of his films when people have stated how much they didn't like them and why? :lol:

If you do then i'm sorry but don't expect people to change their opinions on this matter, his films really aren't good, and fail to be entertaining on even the most basic level. Its rather insulting to sit through movies so painful. I find your defence of one of the worst living director's, which will also seem harsh if your affiliated but I really can't tip toe around that either, just as odd as you seem to find people stating his films are terrible. Its not a conspiracy, or anything overly hard. I hope you realise its genuine reaction to these 'movies'.

Why people are pissed is very obvious, I mean people commited 10mins of their time before turning it off at least, just imagine if they'd paid for these movies on top of this? House of the Dead I saw in a film marathon and that means i paid money for that film, one of the worst films i've ever seen. The only thing that made it bareable was the fact that people were laughing and taking the piss out of how badly made it was all the way through

yet i don't want to wish these movie upon anyone, and i'm not exaggerating as you seem to suggest, i really aren't as scarey as that maybe. People get pissed off when they are insulted, which this movie does, as well as when their money gets wasted, or just general waste. This movie, like his previous ones match all these criteria to get the audience pissed off.

Anyway its not meant to be funny as much as it is a venting of dispair and pure shock and awe that its all the same mistakes all over again; its meant to be a warning and a review of what to expect of this movie, incase someone doesn't realise this is a uwe boll movie. They've attempted to erase references to him on the posters/promotional material, or that's how it seems to me, i wonder why :roll:

And given i've actually seen this pos, or a couple of minutes of it until i turned it off (I was naive enough to think this was going to be any better than Alone in the Dark and house of the dead) and ctrl+del it (that's bypassing the recycle bin btw) this is just as terrible as his other movies, which are really terrible. Not bad, terrible, despite what you say. And yes there's plenty of other shit directors, but none as bad as Uwe Boll at this level of film making IMO. He's produced some of the worst films i've ever seen, consecutively. I much prefer Ed Wood Jr, at least ed wood jrs were funny and watchable.

There's not many films i turn off, and once again I turned this off and surprise surpise its the same director! Of course people are going to bash him if his films are ALL terrrible, deal with it, its a fact.

And despite my adversion of this man, and his work, I've still posted it for your and other's enjoyment if they are that warped, but as a cost of me doing so and wasting seconds of my time in peddling in such terrible movie making, I have to vent how infuriatingly bad of a film it is just incase people are sat on the fench and considering whether this is another waste of space again. It is

lol, well I think the smell is a give away, but only by accident or when i'm too drunk. In those cases i sure would have benefitted from someone shouting about how terrible out of date milk will taste and warning against proceeding before i put it in a cup of tea. :lol:

The biggest reason (for me) why Uwe Boll is such an anethema is not so much the appalling films he makes (although they really are terrible), but the fact that he ruins half decent intellectual properties whilst doing so.

Alone in the dark had the potential to be a good horror franchise, but it was literally unwatchable, pissing all over the source material and treating it as a name to hang on a shit movie as oposed to making any attempt to convert the games to a film.

The day Uwe Boll starts to show the IP's he makes movies from, and his audience with some respect maybe he will start to garner some himself. Until then, I'm sorry Bipbop13, people will quite rightly attack him for his disgraceful "films"

this sums it up for me, i got my hands on the dvdr a moth or 2 ago and watched it with some friends at a lanparty. Michelle rodriguez, Michael Madsen, Udo Kier, Ben Kingsley, and even billy zane (sniper, vlad) and kristanna loken ...and those together in a vampire movie, i just had to see it, but when watching you constantly think: this is it just not....i too think that another director with the same budget and super cast would have made this a better movie...this only raises the question: who is stupid enough to let him make these movies each time?

oh and as being an Jess Franco fan i have seen quit some bad movies ;-)

but i prefer him every day above Boll

I can confirm that this is a DVD rip, just watched it. Maybe someone can move it again to the verified section?

It wasn't as bad as I expected. Weak and at times very boring movie but nothing that will harm you permanently.
