Weeellll... as long as the "metaphorical embodiment of some slice of the abused population takes revenge torturing a common next door guy that stands for everyday evil while talking her head off" subgenre goes, this one is a big improvment over
Boy meets girl at least in production values... it's very very sleekly made and the two leads are quite good.
But she talks preaches and prattles - the movie never pretend she's a *real* girl, but in so doing her character loses much interest. When a character talks in this way you usually assume she's channeling the author's thoughts, and do I really have to believe David Slade care with all this fury about abused children? Hmmm...

it plays quite a lot with fear of castration while I stopped caring that much about my dick long ago , and anyway when it's the time to go all the way the movie really has not the balls to (sorry)
