Image

An old Gothic cathedral, built over a mass grave, develops strange Five friends on a weekend get-away are freestyle snowboarding down the Norwegian mountains when one of them ends up breaking his leg. They find an old, abandoned ski-resort in the middle of nowhere and decide to seek shelter there for the night, only to try to get back to the car in the morning. But as the night unfolds, the friends soon discover that the hotel has a mysterious past, and it doesn't take long before they realize that they're not alone in the old hotel.

There are english subs on the DVD I grabbed from piratebay.
Is accually quite cool, and one of the first horror movies ever produced in Norway. Check it out, and you will probably not get disappointed. The mrs. and me just finished watching it 15 min. ago. :beerchug:

Thanks for the heads up regarding subs Koffkongen. I was hoping the DVD wasn't going to be a waste of 4.5 GB dl.

I'll get Mrs killingjokezz to watch with me - she loves good horror. :beerchug:

This DVD is odd (The SAN version from newsgroups). Neither my Xbox or DVD player give any audio. The menus have background audio, but the main movie is blank. On my PC MPC and PowerDVD give no audio. The only thing that works is VLC. The English subs do work OK though. :(

killingjokezzz, Are you sure they haven't removed the primary audio track and then not updated the indexes? ie. if you go to the audio menu on your xbox and choose another stream, do you get sound? That usually works :)

Tried trhat spud, thanks - but still doesn't work on anything but VLC. I've tried Nero Showtime now as well and that doesn't work either. There is only one audio stream on the DVD (Norwegian) which is selected - just it doesn't come through except in VLC. Very odd.

So have we confirmed or not whether THIS RIP has hardcoded subs or not? The top post is a bit confusing.

Hmmm ok how do I get the subs to work. I'm used to just having everything in the same folder and it would automatically work. That's not happening now...
