Ha HaHa Ha Haha... :googley:

This is one weird movie. I loved it when I was young.

Why did you post in lower quality section? The screens look a bit too bright (the black is not dark enough for example). Is that the reason? :?

Looks great to me!

I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong, but I believe the lower quality section is for non-retail stuff like TV & VHS rips, and BADLY ripped DVDs (like bad cropping, interlacing, etc.)

Guidelines for HQ section: http://forum.dead-donkey.com/viewtopic.php?t=10197

Picture detail is nice but it is too bright in my opinion. On the second screenshot the area above the skull should be plain black.

What did you encode it with DitriS?

And for DVDs which are properly ripped, but where the source was poorly transferred.

Well, I also have the House II DVD, and I think it doesn't look that bad. I have DVDs which are VHS to DVD transfers and you can really see that the source used to be a VHS. Some films I have on the Substance label have that problem. On the other hand, I have several Blue Underground DVDs on which you can not see that the source used to be a VHS, because their transfers are just very well done.

ok... just another member of the "I loved this as a kid!" club :) and I was scared of the villain :o great example of 80's sequel wackiness, the first one was already missing a few screws on the head, this one is missing a head altogether... zombie cowboys, a dog-bug-centipede thing (cute as hell), a crystal skull before indiana jones and so on... Great imagery :) I might even click this since I believe my dvd is actually of inferior quality compared to the screenshots and maybe fullscreen.
