Following the shocking revelation of Pc_arcade downing more then he'll view, now joining the ranks of Spud , polityk , Paul scream probably john doe, I do found it time to investigate how many of you actually watch movies and .....how many.....

Since some of you are somewhat shy of confessing exact numbers I decided to ask this percentage wise....

I for one really do watch all the stuff I down.....yep,they've been quite some hours of my life I want back.......

Whenever i get the chance.. i put on a new movie.

But on some rare occasions, i download a few just to fill in a missing gap in the collection, and putting them on lower-have-to-see-priority.

I would feel really stupid if i had burned out over 2500 movies and not watched a single one :)

Yeah, theres just not enough hours in the day. I had a plan to make each hour last 45 mins instead. That way we'd have 6 more hours to play each day. Work would still be only 8 (new) hours and that would also give us more time. Best of all though would be that we would be allowed to drive much faster since the limits are per hour.

Anyways, EMM tells me I have 1305 flicks registered and that I've seen 672 of 'em. BUT I have seen many more of them before, just not after I've downloaded them.

Been putting all but just a select few on pause lately. Need to find more time to burn to clear space. Good time to ketchup ( :D ) on ones I've had for awhile. I've never not watched one all the way through... well, horror anyway...

i try to watch most of them, but some are just soooooooooo damn stupid, i stop after 10 or 20 minutes. 'arachnia' i think was just penis-on-a-cheezegrader type painfully stupid to watch.

i do re-watch some over and over.
and over
and over
'horrors of spider island' and those thumb movies i like.

I do pretty much what monkey does with taking them out after about 15 or 20 minutes if the movie is that shitty albiet I like shitty movies but one has to draw a line somewhere.
Then there are the ones that I watch repeatedly, over and over like some mental tick or something I never get tired of watching them.Alot of war movies are like this for me and used to be alot of horror but lately it's been war films like Where Eagles dare which I couldn't really count the amount of times I have watched it and can recite line for line of the dialogue.Weird I know :outsider:
Thanks on the heads up on Arachnia, was going to rent that the other day but went for that One Hell of a Christmas instead, there are 2 others that were released recently on dvd along the bug vein that I have seen which was Killer Buzz and deadly swarm, both I think made by the same people at least one of them has an extremely out fo shape and pretty seedy Rutger Hauer and both equally as stupid.
This is my final thought on this though...I would say 50% of the movies I do watch I am in a barely conscience state to interpret what the fuck is going on anyway :wacky: :wacky: :wacky: :beerchug: When I break it down it is all just random acts of violence for my entertainment. :matrix:

They made a series fo the Ring? Wow,I missed the boat on that one...but if it sucks then maybe I didn't.Haven't watched that new version of BattleStar Galactica either but it looked pretty damned lame, couldn't be any worse than suffering through the opening song of Enterprise though  For that matter the whole friggin show :P

eh,
i dont usually agree with anybody else's movie tastes. i've heard other people say arachnia was a good 50's sci-fi type giant monster film, i only watched 10 or so minutes of it(they were on an airplane with meteors). it was more because the stupid female character reminded me a little too much like a girl i was married to last year. it looked like her, talked like her, and just made me want to file a restraining order against the film.

one hell of a christmass i thought was better then expected, if that puts any light on my taste in films. not one that is very rewatchable, but it was well made.

war movies i dont like much, though those string of war/supernatural werent that bad(the bunker, deathwatch, i liked cause i was in the infantry) below was ok enough for navy squidlies.

most of the times, if its a series of movies(lord of the rings) i dont watch until i have them all. ive only seen the first lord of the rings once, and glimpsed the second one(just with the giant treeguys walking) and am waiting for the 3rd one special edition(or whatever with the extended footage like the other two) and watch all three in one sitting. same with those chucky movies, ive never seen any of them.
i'm doing the same thing at the moment with startrek ds9 and the original series, i figure i'll watch them when i have them all.

argh, i was eager to see the first episode of enterprise when i came on tv and was painfully disapointed. after the second episode i just quit capping it from tv. i never watched enterprise again. as far as i can tell, the people in charge had a meeting and said,' how can we make this as gay as possible?'

'lets have the bee gees sing the theme song!'</i>
'That;s not gay enough.'

For soem reason when hearing that song I think David Hasselhoff or John Tesh...It brings up all sorts of sordid emotions in me and makes me feel just a bit paranoid as well.
LOR I didn't watch until the directors cut came out for each of them...shit monkey..I was going to do the same thing with #3 but after watching just 2 in row and it beeing more than 6 hours of it I had had enough of Froto to keep me until Return comes out on DVD in the extended.
The war movie thing...I think it is just a quirck in my brain, most aren't newer movies and some made during the ww2 itself...you see how strange this is?Yeah,I got issues :wacky:

Hi, I watch them all, sometimes I watch them before I burn. This is so I can see quality and if I like the movie. Also even if the movies is not one I care for, I put it listed on a different book case. I try to keep all movies, so I can say to someone, I have that movie, I will share. Even here at home. :D
