You guys may agree with me on this, I'm not being too picky am I? :P first of all if there's already a newer or better rip for this avaiable, sorry, couldn't find it and would be glad if somebody point me the link :) I'm judging from the rip I got wich says "Zombie Flesh Eaters" in the title... The print is kinda blurry... the sound sucks... and I remember a new print of this movie was released not long ago on DVD, don't recall if its R1 or R2 but anyway, This is one of the best fulci films... a zombie classic, and maybe someone agree with me that we deserve a better rip :D at least with a proper cropping

Thanks a lot in advance ;)

:o

That is a bit of a let down cropping wise :( I guess the blurriness could be fixed with a different deinterlacing filter and xvid. Which rip of it is it?

g:\Zombie Flesh Eaters.avi
701.77 MB

Is the one i got, but i can't remember if its a badly cropped one.

If it's quality you want it can be downloaded in DVDr for months both on ed2k and bittorent.....and I'm sure it's on several ftp's and newsgroups out there......

Not sure if they've got my running time though

I wish I had a DVD Burner... :/ Hope i get one in near future though :) But mainly I wish I lived in a country where I dont have to pay 60% of the product value on duties every time I get an import item out of the mail...or at least a country with a currency that's not as weak as mine ( 1 dollar buys 2,90 of our current money today...) , It's pretty sad when u get to amazon.com and u notice how cheap are some DVDs you would kill to have (cause they'll NEVER be released here) and then again u stop for a while and realize you'll end up paying 3 times the real value when the thing arrives (after 3 months).... Btw I live in Brazil :P

Of course i wanna have Zombie in original DVD... but i can't right now... hope so in the future! I wish i had all fulci films in original DVDS, and hopefully someday Ill get them all... today... I can't... So I'm not a quality freak... to me a proper cropping would be enough... It's just that I love fulci... but a dvd rip is the only way i can get to see his movies  and i'm always happy when a great movie has the quality rip it deserves :)

I'll try search for another rip, maybe i find a different version... Mines about 653MB (I may be wrong), so ill keep looking... Thanks a lot

that's helpful

I don't think that's really point; there's a rip out, but the rip is flawed in so far that it hasn't been "properally" ripped. It certainly looks to need a new rip with proper cropping and some filters applied to clean up the source :)

If i find a better version, I'll release it.

I can you people help with a new rip of it. I got the original DVD overhere. It was released a few years back in Holland. Don't know if I have ripped it already so I have to check otherwise I will rip the one for you.

Dont wanna share it as a DVDr or someone must have a solution for this problem. Got a good connection for other methods then ed2k.

Zombi 2 (1979)

Btw, is the fully uncut Shriek Show DVD already out?

IMDb wrote:
Although the Anchor Bay version is uncut in terms of gore, it is actually missing some brief footage (a few frames at a time) during a few scenes:
- The opening frames have been slightly trimmed, as well as the opening music.
- The scene with the professor holding up his gun has been shortened.
- The phone booth scene is missing some footage.
- The shark attack sequence has been slightly cut.
- A full frontal nudity shot of Olga Karlatos in the shower is missing. Reportedly, the upcoming Shriek Show DVD under the title "Zombi 2" will restore all the above cuts that were trimmed from the Anchor Bay Release
