I tried to rip the subs at least four times to no avail. It gives 'timecodes overlapping' error at the end of the rip and the result is a useless subttile file. I tried both English and hearing-impaired ones, both are same. May there be a problem with the vobsubs?

Well i got sent a DVDr of it and i don't think its had the subs removed, but some fool spilt coke or something on it and its all yucky on the important side

Its going through vobsub now so we'll see if there's any difference.

What rip are you trying to make of them, srt? english?

vobsubs sometimes are a pain in the ass, cuz the ripper made some encoding mistakes at his own risk, when he release the subpack without testing out, this a big matter. So don't bother yourself Dec

There's an index error on the dvdr i have :S They play on the disc fine though, i wonder if there's an authoring error on the original disc? I'm not sure if its been transcoded.

Then again it might be the crap on the bottom of the disc, its the second time someones borrowed one of my disc and wrecked it.

I tried to rip English .srt subtitles. I managed to rip them but time codes are in reverse

It's like they begin with 01:22:53,980 --> 01:22:55,950 and ends with 00:00:27,770 --> 00:00:30,740. Very strange

You can extract it with the correct timing, using the .sub file only (without the .idx).
Anyway, i uploaded the english subs in .srt format here, and the spanish ones here.

Release Notes

A beautifully clean print dvd, if you like the movie, its a solid purchase and
was given a nice transfer (even if it lacks any extras!). This is one of those
movies that I actually quite enjoyed even though its nothing overly amazing.
Same kind of film as Body Snatchers, just no where near as good (the sutherland
version of course!)
